
At the February Meetup...
Brazos Valley women heard Kate Masón, Director of Advocate Operations at Voices for Children Brazos Valley, share her story of 18 years experience of helping to start three 501-3C non-profit organizations in Bryan/College Station. She was a founding Board member in 2000 of Voices for Children, an advocacy organization of trained volunteers who advocate in the best interests of foster children who are in the care of Child Protective Services, a division of the Department of Family and Protective Services of the State of Texas. Kate’s present and past experience includes staff training, development, and grant writing. Voices for Children now serves five counties.
