At the August Meetup...

Twin City Mission

Attendees welcomed Angie Shell, Twin City Mission Shelter and Homeless Services Manager.

Ms. Shell  gave an overview of the five areas of need that The Mission serves in pursuing its Vision for...

"A world in which all individuals and families have opportunity for hope, acceptance, and stability in a safe and caring environment.”

She elaborated on each of the five areas which are:
     Homeless Services
     Domestic Violence Services
     Youth and Family Services
     Housing Services
     Donation and Resale Services

She facilitated discussion and answered questions raised regarding present needs and how best this group can help with these programs. Some stories of successes and healing were shared as well.

The Shelter which is called The Bridge Homeless Shelter is located at 410 Randolph Street, Bryan. Other Twin City Mission Programs are located at sites throughout our community.
